Every ingredient was screened for antiplatelet, anticoagulant, glycemic and hemodynamic interaction risk, and reviewed for compatibility with commonly used anesthetic agents.

Will this interfere with my medications or anesthesia?
The PERIOME Protocol was formulated by anesthesiologists with drug-nutrient interactions explicitly in mind. Every ingredient was reviewed against standard perioperative medications, including anesthetic agents, anticoagulants and antibiotics. That review does not replace your surgical team's judgment about your own medications. Share your full medication list with them before you start, and follow their guidance.
What type of surgery is this designed for?
People preparing for a scheduled operation, across orthopedic, general, gynecologic, cardiac and urologic surgery. Those operations share the same core physiologic demands: fasting, anesthetic exposure, surgical stress and recovery. Your surgical team decides whether it is right for your case.
Is this just a supplement?
It is a dietary supplement, and it is made to that standard. What sets it apart is scope: it is perioperative nutrition, bounded by the operation. It covers the fifteen days around surgery (preparing before, fitting your fasting schedule on the day, supporting recovery after) and then it ends. It is not something you take indefinitely.
Does my doctor need to approve it?
No prescription is required. PERIOME is a dietary supplement designed to be physician-recommended, not physician-prescribed. Your care team does not need to initiate it, but we encourage you to share the ingredient list with your surgeon or anesthesiologist so they can review it in the context of your specific case.
Can I order the PERIOME Protocol now?

Is this covered by insurance or HSA/FSA?
The PERIOME Protocol is designed to qualify as HSA/FSA eligible. Confirm eligibility with your plan administrator. Insurance reimbursement is a longer-term goal as the evidence is established.
